Questions asked during the class but not answered live:

  • Roseann was your leather bound journal handmade or can you tell us the brand? Thanks.

Answer: It’s a handmade cover with a simple leather binding. There are several tutorials on how to make one here: https://www.exploringoverland.com/search?f_collectionId=5c4c8c5d168c730001761e18&q=journal%20%2B%20kit

  • Does anyone use recycled paper for journaling? What do you think about it?
You can definitely find recycled paper journals — they won’t work well with watercolor because it’s wood pulp rather than cotton. Most watercolor paper is 100% cotton.

  • Please say a bit more about the Magnifyer feature on the IPhone?
It’s in the “Accessibility” settings. Mine is “triple click” the home button or side button (iPhone 11) and it opens. It’s great! Even better on the iPhone 11.
