Recent years have seen an explosion of scientific evidence from neuroscience and education showing that there is a different way to teach and learn, available to us all. When we take a limitless approach to learning—in school, work, our creative endeavors, and in life—new and different pathways open up to us, leading to higher, more equitable, and more enjoyable achievement. In this session, we will explore the power of a growth mindset and how we can help it take root by coupling it with this limitless approach. We will examine effective strategies to mute our inner critic, stop comparing ourselves to others, and find joy, confidence, and freedom…in our creative work and in our lives. At the end of the main talk, John Muir Laws will join Jo Boaler for a live Q&A.
