Join naturalist and author Roseann Hanson on a virtual field trip to northern Chile’s Atacama Desert—using a combination of her own video and images plus Google Earth, she’ll take you on an exploration of this extreme environment to find vicuñas, hot springs, and live volcanos high in the Andes. She’ll walk you through metadata, page layout, and using a variety of unique “views” to capture a landscape during a field trip—including zoom-out, zoom-in, and “3-D cube” cutaways (John Muir Laws style).
SUPPLIES: Journal, pen, colors and brush if you have them.
