Join professional artist and calligrapher J.P. Panter for an introduction to page layouts using graphic design theory. She will share hierarchy tips and tricks that will help you form simple underlying structures and create uniformity in your journal.
Colored pencils (red & blue, maybe a light gray) (Prismacolor and or Faber Castel brands) Scissors Toned paper Butcher paper, craft paper, toned tan sketchbook paper Triangle 45* angle. Ruler Long enough to measure out the longest edge of your sketchbook. JP carries in the field a small Westcott brand stainless steel ruler that is 6’ and or 15mm.
