Here, on the edge of the Eastern Pacific Ocean, I explore the stunning local marine plankton with my microscope, my camera, and my Nature Journal. My interest lies at the intersection of art and science. For several years I have volunteered with the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary and through my experiences there, I have fallen in love with marine plankton. Nature journaling plankton has been a key part of my personal journey as I learn about the magical world hidden beneath the waves.
